Halloween Fun - article thumnail image

Halloween Fun

Halloween fun will begin with our PTA Trunk or Treat event on Wednesday, October 30th from 4:30 - 6:30 in the field participants will enter through Gate 5. Halloween is a very fun time for children and adults. We want to be sure that we make our school events family friendly. So as you are shopping for costumes remember that student's faces cannot be covered, no masks and minimal make up. Also costumes should be age appropriate and follow school guidelines. Nothing gory, bloody, scary, and no weapons of any type. Save the special items for when you go out trick-or-treating! Students will need to change into their regular clothes after the parade and all make-up will need to be wiped off. Any inflatable costumes need to be approved by Mrs. Balius ahead of time. This year, I will be hosting my pumpkin decorating contest again! What will your pumpkin be? We will have special categories for the judging. 1) Most colorful 2) Disney inspired 3) Most creative 4) Mrs. Balius' Favorite 5) Best carved Pumpkins should be dropped off to the office 10/31 before the parade and be picked up at the end of the day! The Halloween Parade will take place 10/31 at 8:30ish. Parents are welcomed to come to watch the parade.
