Character Strengths

We are committed to preparing all students to be successful and responsible citizens who contribute and thrive in a diverse society. In order to do so, we recognize the need to develop not just academic skills, but the personal skills needed in life. At Stanley, we focus on recognizing and developing character strengths. Each month we target a particular strength. We learn about it in class; we take the time to recognize it in characters we read about and in those around us; we honor our students who demonstrate this strength.
